Chapter 13 What new threat does Katniss face?
Katniss was a huge forest fire. She tried to escape it but didn't know where to go. So she tried to follow a pack of wild dogs. But she couldn't keep up with them
2. How do the Game makers control the events of the Games ?
The game makers control the events in the games. They place traps and tricks. If the games get to boring they try to trick the tributes to come face to face. Or they make fires to kill some.

A burn from a fire ball at the forest fire to her hands and calf slow her down. 4. Who finds her? Peeta and the group of career tributes found her when was in a pond healing her burns but she escaped in a tree

Chapter 11 What is the Cornucopia?
The Cornucopia is a big basket. This Cornucopia has supplies of what the tributes need. First they need to climb all the way to get their supplies. The Cornucopia is 20 feet high. They will have to fight for the supplies

She runs to woods. She run to woods because she is being followed. The only weapon she gets is a knife. She gets a knife because it was thrown at her. Luckily she was saved by her backpack.

She was mad because the fire could attract attention. It could alert the tributes. It would make her an easy target. The people in the pack were some career tributes and Peeta.

Chapter 10 Why does Peeta reveal his love for Katniss? Do you think he really loves her? Why or why not?
He admitted it so he could become more popular with the people watching. Then to get more sponsors for himself to. Maybe to bring Katniss up a little to. But I don't think he is telling the truth and Haymitch told him to say something like that
2. What is Peeta’s main concern during the hunger games?
He doesn't want to die. But die like someone else not like himself.
3. How does the Capitol view the previous arenas of the hunger games? How many games have there been?
They view them as historic sites. They have them for people on vacation to see them. They let you see the spots were tributes died. They even let reenact the battles. There has been 74 Hunger Games.

I think it is a source of entertainment for the capital people. It is also to show the districts there in power. To show they could do nothing to stop them. To show supreme power and had everything they want with the reward they give to the winner.

Chapter 9 Describe Katniss’ interview attire and training? What affect do you think it had on the audience?
Katniss was dressed in dress with shiny objects. Her nails were painted with flames and had high heels. The training helped her so she could get used to the heels. Then in the interview the advice Cinna gave her helped her with answering questions. The audience would be happy because she has ferocity.

Haymitch told her to act hostile like she is. Then later to lie and compliment the capital.Then Cinna told her to act like herself. When she doubted that, Cinna told her she was lovable.

What scores do Peeta and Katniss receive? The scores the tributes get are from when the game makers are watching them and scoring their ability. They give them from a one to a twelve. Depending on there numbers they get sponsors that give them stuff. But the scores aren't always right. When Katniss' and Peeta's score showed up there were 11 and 8.
How did Katniss and Gale meet?
Describe their story. She said one time when she was hunting she found a snare with a rabbit in it. When she was looking at it Gale came up and said not to steal it because it was against the law to steal. They started joking around and started becoming friends .Later, she said if you teach her how to make snares she'll teach him how to shoot a bow and arrow. Then they started hunting with each other and said they promised to keep each other family alive and give them food.

3. What reasons would Peeta have for being curious about Gale?
There are many reasons for which Peeta might be curious about Gale. He might have romantic feelings for Katniss so he might want to know how Gale is connected to her. He might also just want to make conversation. He might just also be curious about Gale himself.
2. What prevents tributes from jumping off the roof? Why do you think this is in place?
The electric field that would throw them back on the roof is what prevents tributes from jumping. This is probably placed so that none of the tributes can commit suicide or escape before, or during, the games. The Capitol doesn't want tributes to die before the games so they can watch them die for entertainment, or need to get another tribute last minute.
chapter 6 What is an Avox? How does Katniss know the Avox?
An Avox is someone who's committed a crime. Katniss knows the Avox because when her and Gale were in the woods hunting, they saw the Avox and a boy fleeing from something. Then Katniss saw the Avox gettaken and the boy get killed.

It's really hard for Katniss to trust Peeta's kindness because she doesn't know his real intentions. She thinks that he is just being nice so she can be easier to fool. She thinks that he is just faking his kindness. She also thinks that if they get closer, it will be harder for them to kill each other.

He tells them to hold before the charriot leaves into the capitol. The purpose of gesture is to trick them into friendly enemies.

Life in the Capitol is so much easier than the life one has in District 12. People there don't have to struggle or hunt for their food. They have their food at the push of a button. The Capitol, unlike District 12 always has electricity. People at the Capitol also don't have to worry about being chosen for the Hunger Games. THey have thier lives planned out littery.

This reveals that the Capitol is really into appearances. Everyone in the district is very colorful and out there. They have stylists for the tributes so they can look there best at the ceremony. I think appearances is one of the many crazy beliefs the Capitol has.

I don't really think he will be a good mentor because most of the time he is drunk. He just hit Peeta because he got mad at him. But he might be a good one because he has already gone through the games. Also, he knows what to do and what not to so thats a pretty good thing.

He gave Katniss by giving her cookies and tell her that he wood protect her family. he might have taught his son to be nice to those in need.They shuold shear when they can.

Madge gives her a pin. Katniss likes it because it reminds her of her father.It is a mockingjay .Her father liked those alot.

Madge is diffrent because she is rich and their not as rich. She doesnt need to get trasere. She doesnt hunt for food. Katniss & Gale are poor and need extra help. Doesnt have a big chance of geting picked by the reaping.
